Born and raised in the American Midwest, on country road near Midland, Michigan, Chris Molitor grew up on 100 acres of woods and trails, surrounded by the sounds and songs of nature. Currently residing in the mountainous Pacific Northwest, he now calls Spokane, Washington home. His journey has been winding, unexpected, and at times weary, but his “powerful, enchanting vocals” (Elmore Magazine) and heartfelt songwriting continues to be honed and matured by life’s triumphs and adversity. Molitor is a storyteller - using melody and rhyme to bring the listener into beautiful moments where hopes and fears collide.
Chris Molitor is an award winning singer, and has performed both nationally and regionally for the last seven years. He is currently booking performances for 2019.
Molitor’s songs have been featured on commercial projects for Nike, Jeep, REI, William Sonoma, Keurig Coffee and many others. His seasoned approach to songwriting has allowed him success across multiple genres. He currently has plans to create songwriter’s retreats to help grow the local Spokane creative community. Molitor is available for co-writes and songwriting lessons.
Chris Molitor is quickly becoming a stand out producer in the Inland Northwest. His own debut self-produced album, Coming Home, turned heads amongst his peers, and has led to many new producing opportunities. Zory’s single, “Went Too Far” and Gabriella Rose’s debut EP, “Lost in Translation” are both excellent examples of Molitor’s production instincts and abilities.
